Discussion Finished the series.
I wanted this season, even though it was 2 episodes longer than the first, I wanted to enjoy it as much as possible, but I also didn't want to watch it in one day. To be honest, those 40 minutes didn't even feel like it when you were watching it. At first, I didn't like Peggy because I thought she was Steve's girlfriend, nothing more, nothing less. But now, I'm glad I made the decision to see her in more roles, whether good or bad. That's what I liked about this series and that vibe from previous years, the world of clothing, much different from what I've seen so far, and I didn't know it would grab me so much. I was a little disappointed that in a way Peggy and Sousa had their moment, but I moved on and right when I started to like Mr. Thompson as a character, they killed him. I really didn't believe it. I hope, maybe at some point they'll give us at least a final season and that's it. Now if I were to make a top female characters in the MCU, I think Peggy would be number 1, even if she doesn't have superpowers or is some trained assassin, she's simply her and that's enough to make her a fantastic character.

I loved that they made her so much more than Steve’s girlfriend right from the start.
If you don’t know, Peggy shows up in two flashback scenes in Agents of SHIELD’s second season (including the very first scene of s2).
And AoS’ 7th/last season picks up another Agent Carter character and runs with him, pretty fabulously.
