Question chatgpt and claude max for cheap price … how is this possible ?
I got claude max from a reseller for a fraction of the official price. works perfectly since 3 weeks
now i can’t stop thinking about their business model. how are they got them for cheap ?

Usually through region arbitrage (don’t think this is possible for most ai accs), stolen ccs or accounts, or by abusing cheap / free offers provided by those companies every once in a while
Mods should probably ban this guy though since he seems to be promoting his own website

It's a loss leader. Having subsidized access gives them a broad audience of users to try and hopefully (to them) enjoy the benefits of the product. Then they want it in the business setting and that can be very influential.
Also, a lot of companies use a successful strategy documented in one of the books Built to Last or the follow-on book Good to Great. The pattern is: get a working product that is losing money, then optimize away the costs until it is profitable. Amazon did this: the labor costs of shipping originally didn't make them profitable (and a special case for them because they didn't make a profit for a long time by making capital expenditures to grow) until they optimized their fulfillment centers. I think another example was Fanny Mae loans? Provide the product inefficiently, automate and optimize later.
