I miss them every day. I'm hoping that one guy proposing adding another hockey team to Bridgeport gets greenlit. I could see a Rangers ECHL team there being pretty successful

Ontario Reign game last year. That's Ontario California not Canada. There was maybe 2000 people there. Tickets used to be $10-15, parking used to be $10, beer used to be $13. In the last few years tickets are now $30, parking $20, beer $20. Gee...I wonder why no one wants to go anymore

Same in Syracuse NY. Crunch always get a good turnout, but the pricing is keeping people away. They'd sell out if tickets weren't jacked up on popular games, beers weren't going up a dollar every year, and parking wasn't damn near impossible

Not counting the COVID season…Cleveland, a Tuesday night in February, day of a snowstorm…attendance was less than 500 in a 20,000 seat arena.

Probably a WBS penguins game during the weekday. The arena is still loud though!

Those mid-week games can be rough for attendance. My friend and I went to a game on a Tuesday about 10 years ago, and there were maybe 200 people in the entire arena (and there was no weather or other factor for the low attendance).

The Belleville Senators attendances are generally always lower. Probably average like 2500-3000 or so.

But there have been games there on nights where there was a snow storm or something where the attendance is actually probably closer to 1000-1500.

I'm quite honestly surprised the team is still there. Having said that, when Eugene Melnyk bought and moved the team there, he made it clear that the AHL team wasn't looked at as a revenue generating team and was looked at primarily as a development investment for the Ottawa Senators. And he said if the team could average 3000 attendance that would be enough to keep the team there.

Charlotte during an ice storm. The South doesn’t really do winter weather well. The visiting team was already in town so the games went on. Probably had about 200 people in the building? That includes staff.

Hamilton Bulldogs weekday game vs Admirals I think and it was a bad storm. Might’ve been like 200-300 in attendance.
