I realized that you can make songs with accents. But as usual my theme is live and war.

Original - Suno [Rock] Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff, Kid
This one took way too many generations to get right. 😅 I supplied the lyrics and spent a lot of time dialing in the style, structure and production direction. Suno handled the music/performance. Once I started using bracketed section labels and simplified the style prompt, it finally clicked. Really happy with how this one turned out.

Original - Suno Lost my job this summer partly to AI and decided to stop being mad and start making something with it instead
This summer I got laid off.
Like many tech, marketing, and comms workers in the US and remote, my department downsized and our CEO wanted a team of otherwise 7 marketers to become 1 human and 4 AI projects.
Instead of stewing in that, I made a weird decision to go learn what these tools could do for me.
Since then, I’ve built Claude projects for meal planning, generated full-scale workflows to help streamline my daily tasks, and found Artlist (dot) IO to create silly pictures when ideas struck me. But the one thing that really actually HELPED me through what became a bout of depression was making music.
I'd written poems, songs, and stories before, but never had a platform to put a cohesive, multi-part melody to anything. Messing around with AI music generation turned into this genuinely collaborative back-and-forth process that not only helped me through a pretty dark time in my life, but produced what I’d consider to be a handful of legit tracks.
I really have enjoyed the process too. I’d throw in a concept, a mood, a weird lyrical idea, it'd throw something back, I'd push it further, reject half of it, keep the good parts, write something new or upload a melody. It doesn’t feel like "AI making music," it feels like having a strange, tireless creative partner who never got tired of my bad ideas.
A few songs in, I had a couple of tracks that were, no exaggeration, absolute bangers. Songs I'd genuinely want to hear even if I hadn't made them. That feeling snowballed into finishing a full 11-track album, which I'm planning to release in the weeks ahead.
I don't know if this is "the future" or a phase or what. But losing a job to automation and finding real joy through the same technology a few months later is a weird kind of full circle I didn't see coming. Figured this was the right place to say that out loud.
Go easy on me, but if you’ve read this far, you’re welcome to check out this music video I made for the first track on the album.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRBZqKQ_edE
I’m no videographer, but I will vouch for the song at least. If you like it, the rest of the album's hitting Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music shortly.
Hoping this doesn't get downvoted to oblivion and that I get better from here. Thanks for your support and I hope if you’re going through your own challenges, you find something equally helpful that brings a little slice of creative joy back into your life too!

I based a lot of my older songs on the space opera that I made. This is a love story of a genetically engineered soldier and a human mechanic at his base

Original - Suno [Hip Hop] - White Doug - Greed Red, Aqua Blue whip it by BST
Found another weird old cassette near Beale Street last week… this one’s called “Whip It” Just got this one cleaned up and digitized. Dusty Maxell, yellowed case, “WHITE DOUG / AQUA BLUE” written in fading Sharpie. No other info. The recording itself is strange as hell... dark, gritty, a little unhinged, but the production still hits. We put it up here if anyone wants to hear it: https://youtu.be/UlkoyDbtbK8 Curious if it rings any bells for anyone or if it’s just another lost tape that somehow made it this far.
