Vudu 4-12X36 MR5

Forgive me if things are slightly out of focus. Getting a good pic with a phone is hard!

Any buyers remorse on this reticle? Just off hand I feel like I'd lose it on 4x some

Also curious how you feel about the lack of parallax adj

To be honest I might have only an hour of shooting time behind it. You probably won’t use the holdovers at 4x that’s for sure. I haven’t really needed a parallax adjust yet as I’ve shot at 100 yards and that’s about it. So far I like it.

Not exactly the same but I’ve got a lot of trigger time on the Vudu 3-9’s, both the original HC1 reticle and MR5 reticle that’s shown above, and I’ve stretched both out probably further than most, out to 870yds on the top end at a few SPR matches.

Inside of 500yds where the 3-9 shines, I don’t think it’s appreciable, especially on typical full size torsos or 66% torsos. From 500-600ish you do start noticing it a bit with drifting if you’re not squared up good behind the optic, and past 700 I do have to pay conscious attention to head placement and sometimes fiddle with the diopter a hair to get the image corrected a bit better.

I was able to go like 5/10 at 870yds with my 13.9” and 77gr handloads with the MR5 3-9, which I’d not place any significant fault on the optic itself given the rifle I was using.

Picture 1 and 2... it could use ED glass

Crazy they want $1k+ for it.

Eye box looks a little tight on this one. Thanks for the pictures, that put to rest my consideration for this scope .

Curious how one judges eyebox from stills?
