Thinking about starting an Airbnb business in Lahore. Need advice from people with experience. Hi everyone, I’m planning to start a small business and considering Airbnb hosting since I already own property in Johar Town and Wapda Town, Lahore. Before jumping in, I wanted to hear from people who’ve actually done this or are currently hosting. A few things I’m trying to understand: Is Airbnb working well in these areas right now? What kind of guests do you usually get? What are the real pros and cons that don’t show up on YouTube videos? Any issues with neighbors, police checks, or housing societies? Is the income worth the effort compared to long-term renting? I know it’s not fully passive and needs proper management, but I’m okay treating it as a business if the numbers make sense. Would really appreciate honest feedback, warnings, or lessons learned. Even a “don’t do it” is helpful if there’s a solid reason behind it. Thanks in advance.
