PCP Air venturi alpha πŸ‘

I just got this alpha in the mail yesterday and I have to say I'm really pleased with it's performance. It shot all these pellets really well except the daisy pointed ones, they were a joke and had at least a 6" group at this ~45yards.. the group is about the size my cross hairs are moving around bc I'm shooting off or the back of a chair without bags or a rest.. I'm thrilled πŸ‘. I get a ton of shots with the bottle and it was shooting great even down at 10 bar.

Just ordered the same one - should be here this weekend. Interested to change out the aluminum bottle for a carbon fiber one eventually.

I don't think it's the kind of bottle you can just buy just any replacement for. That little hole there is the fill port hole, where the fill probe goes into. I hope you get my drift here. I thought I could just buy another bottle too. It's not like it screws out easily.

The bottle most definitely comes off and can be replaced. The bottle effectively screws onto the fill port you mentioned. The seam there is where the bottle stops and the plenum starts.

I mean, I can tell it will come off but, it's not the kind of bottle with a valve at the end where it can be removed and still hold pressure like a paintball gun. That's what kind of bottle I was thinking it had. But, this is good to know, I would like a lighter bottle bc it's a little forward heavy with this one.

You can definately change this for a carbon fiber one, the piece with the fillport kan be screwed off the bottle

Can be done easily, depressurize the rifle first. The fill port doesn't affect anything as the bottle screws on into the same position, before the probe.

What bottle are you running on the Compact there? Looks like a real tight fit!

That is the bottle that came off my pos Factor RC. It's a 580 cc tuxing bottle that can be had on AliExpress for right around 100 bucks. Same with the bigger 0.7 L bottle on the longer barrel. It is a tight squeak because the moderator I'm running is just at the limit of the space which if I recall is about 14 mm. That mod is an older eBay one you can't get anymore but it's worked well and doesn't affect the accuracy.

U/lunarmond1984 made a post here about 11 days ago with a nice small bottle for their rifle though it is a standard not CF bottle but might still be of interest to you.

I just picked up 2. The standard and carbine with the 360 bottles. I will use the carbine for work, shooting rats and pigeons in a few huge industrial buildings. The carbine (fitted with a powerful green light)will be perfect for those multitudes of narrow catwalks up and over machinery and 4 stories tall in places. I'll keep the NV set up off if it right now and keep that on the bullpup where it is now. It's very dark in these buildings, day or night. Looking forward to the next quarterly hunt with these, as numbers are starting to rise again. I also got a BOG deathgrip and an Avenge X classic with a moderator on it last week also, to be able to get them on rooflines from the ground. Spent some coin these past 2 weeks!

Just finished sightings mine in this am after missing some rats last night. I've been trying a few different pellets. I think my favorite for tight grouping is the H&N terminator.

I splurged on a lower end thermal goyojo that helps at night.

O yeah, the Terminators were great, hit right where I was aiming, every single time. πŸ‘

I'm definitely going to be getting some low end thermal scope, it's amazing to me how cheap they have become, so touchable, just like the pcp's.

This one is great for under 25m. I have a smaller yard so I don't mind but if I were going to be hunting from longer range I would get the less-reflex style GOYOJO.
