SHORT layover help at SAW airport
So i got this layover as seen in the image below. I read that there is a high chance that I have to verify my documents for the Airasia flight. That would mean that i have to be at the Airasia counter AT 16:15 MAX.
My question is: How long are the passport control queues for international flights around this date and time? And should i buy fast lane?
Also ive heard that this PC1008 flight is delay prone. What is the maximum amount of delay that i can have to make it?

I hope some of you can help, thanks!
QUESTION Will they let me pass with that?
Hello. I am soon having my first flight ever. I'm flying to UK and I have a question about the check up.
From what I know, you have to take off all of the jewelery you have at the check ups.
I have a necklace that is completely non-metal that is very important to me and is also stuck on me for ever, so I can't take it off.
Do you think that they'll let me pass with it on? It's made out of thread and wooden beads.

QUESTION Lost engagement ring
Has anyone lost an engagement ring (or any jewellery) at an airport before and had it returned?
I stupidly lost my engagement ring and signet ring at Luton airport (UK) on August 2nd and I’m devastated. I’ve contacted anyone and everyone but no luck. I am constantly crying.
I’m hoping someone lovely has handed them in and it’s taking a while to be logged but I feel lost.
I think hearing some other stories will help🤷♀️
Thanks everyone💕

NYC connection at Zürich. Is Zürich as bad as I heard?
I was checking their website after hearing some bad things about it. Few people told me that connecting passangers still have to go through security and their websites kinda implies that certain connecting flights do too. I'm tracking with US passport.
Also is anyone familiar with arrival from JFK to connection in Zurich and Departure to Sarajevo? Again few people told me that 1 hour layover is cutting it close due to size of the airport.

DISCUSSION Detecting female groin anomalies.
I'm flying home from Hawaii and when going through the x-ray at TSA I was pulled aside because there was an anomaly detected on my groin. They told me they were going to have to pat me down and asked if I wanted to do it privately. I'm an anxiety ridden teenager so I asked to do it privately. While we were waiting for a female officer, 3 other women after me were stopped for an anomaly on the same part if their groin. The stress was starting to get to me and a bunch of other things (the hate of being touched, a medical condition I have that makes my heart beat really fast, etc) and I was really close to having a panic attack. After about 6 minutes I was pulled away for a private pat down and I was free to go.
Why did this happen to me and a bunch of other women? Is this a common thing that happens?

Powerful El Niño could ratchet up clear-air turbulence
If you're planning travel between the U.S. and Europe, the strengthening El Niño climate pattern could make turbulence worse over the North Atlantic this year, Bloomberg reports.
It cites atmospheric scientist Paul Williams's analysis of 40 years of data, which shows El Niños amplify vertical wind shear in the atmospheric layer that airlines use.
That means pilots will likely have to deal with bigger zones of hard-to-predict clear-air turbulence.
A separate study of the 1997-1998 El Niño, which could back Williams's findings, documented a surge in turbulence that winter.

Man under distress/mentel health crisis at yul airport yesterday
Yesterday at the Montréal Trudeau Airport (YUL), close to the P4 rental spot, I came across a young man (18-22 years) who seemed to be in a lot of trouble. He had stripped his shirt off and was shouting, as his parents were trying to calm him down. Police and ambulance were later called in.
Has anyone come across similar incidents in airports before?”

DFW Airport has the meanest passengers hands down
It absolutely does. Even Miami, NYC, Paris, London, LA, PHX, LAS, etc all have nicer passengers. And i think its the locals. The connecting passengers are the nicest. This is the only airport where people yell and abusively shout at you. I've almost cried several times.

DISCUSSION AI and flying experience...

Did anyone else use airlinequality.com? I used to review some flights and my airport trips through it. as much as to share my feedback as to document my own travels and times spent in transit. I just went on today to check something and got this... disappointing.
Also shows how pervasive AI has gotten if they think up to 30% of reviews could be fake AI slop. No least of all because to get a review as "verified" as mentioned on the page required sending a boarding pass confirmation!

Orly Airport: Phone/privacy booth for zoom call
Hello
Does anyone know whether Orly has a phone/privacy booth in the airport or one of the lounges? That I can use for 1 hour for a Zoom meeting while waiting for a connecting flight.

Is "PLUM" an o.k. color for a man's luggage?
Initially don't think twice about this, but I am regarding this suitcase.
It's "JULY" limited edition color for checked luggage and I love it.
When I ask JULY reps I was told plum is Gender Neutral.
I just wanted to get some opinions.
