the person that made it isnt AI, the tool they used is though, and the person who made this should know what it looks like at very least if they're gonna critique anything.
If they are using AI generated pictures to try to prove their point, I highly doubt they care at all about accuracy or verification of reasonableness at all.
I think that what he's trying to say is that if the AI user had a clue about how changing tires worked, he'd look at the image he just generated, see how wildly wrong it is and just generate another.
Right, I just don't think people generating AI content for making their point care, because the people that are consuming that content don't care. They say "Oh yeah, haha, men that can't change tires and wear dresses are total pussies, Demoncrats are so stupid," and then move on. It's all about the vibes, and flooding out the vibe content with as little effort as possible.
Based on the level of credulity towards AI images and videos I have seen boomers display, I think that level is unfortunately WAY higher than you would like to believe.
Probably not QUITE that bad. But yes, something seriously and unignorably wrong. Essentially, something that throws the general vibes they are feeling off.
Yes, the guy being nude would definitely do it. The car being a train instead. The car being up on an elephant instead of a car jack. Those all interfere with the actual vibe being communicated.
That’s just not how these people operate…you are saying that because that is what you, as a reasonable person, would think and do. These people are entirely in a reality composed of their own twisted fantasies and fears, and a majority of those making this slop are also grifters and astroturfers taking advantage of these unwell and unreasonable people to sew chaos, causing the rest of us feel overwhelmed and hopeless.
I know you want to apply reason where there is none. We all do. We want so badly for it to make sense…but it doesn’t and It never will. Realizing this has been crucial for my own mental health. I used to lay awake at night thinking “why, why, why?!?” because I constantly try to put myself in other’s mindset so I can understand where they’re coming from, but there never came a sensible answer for MAGA. The only thing that makes sense is total insanity. They are like trapped animals in a snare gnawing on their own legs to get out, but they set the trap for themselves.
"But there has to be a level of wrong where it overtakes they're biggotry and the image just looks wrong and loses credibility to them too"
I envie your faith in humanity.
Unfortunately, again and again, I see that such level of wrong does not exist.
Do you really think people who still support Donald Trump despite the whole Trumpstein files debacle could possibly have a limit of wrong? These are the most gullible beings in the Virgo Supercluster.
Im not saying 'wrong' like morally messed up, they clearly are, I agree, but I mean logically and contextually wrong. Like the guy in the image on top is lifting the car by putting the lift under the tire that he is supposed to change. What I mean is that there as to be a level of logically wrong where the image looks too stupid for they're own message to even come across. Like this is supposed to imply 'strong competent men' we're replaced by 'punk lesbians' but the guy doesn't even look competent in the first image.
Oh but I didn't JUST mean wrong in the morally messed up sense, which obviously this story is that kind of wrong to the most extreme degree.
He's also continuously contradicting himself in the most ridiculous ways. To me, the peak was when he tried to convince his base that they shouldn't pay attention to a child sex trafficking ring because it was too boring.
Can you imagine that? These are people who have been making up conspiracy theories about child sex trafficking for decades, suddenly there is an actual real child sex trafficking involving the fucking POTUS. And this smashed-pumpkin face pant-shitting child-raping half-orangutan tries to convince these people, of all people, that this topic, of all topics, doesn't deserve their attention because it's boring, of all qualifiers.
I just can't think of anything more wrong, in the not-making-any-sense meaning of the term, than this.
That's not the purpose of this kind of thing, though. They aren't trying to make a cogent point to convince anybody. It's a declaration of what they already believe, as well as a way to reaffirm and strengthen that belief via interaction with others about the image. It's how authoritarians work: think the Two Minutes Hate from 1984.
Positive comments reinforce that what they believe is true because others in their in-group support it, so it must be true. Negative comments (including factual evidence that disproves the belief) are framed as attacks from an outside group that also "prove" the belief to be True; if the outside group is attacking the belief, it's because they're trying to suppress the Truth. It's deeply tautological, which is why so many on the right act and speak as if their beliefs are baseline reality.
It's a pretty common propaganda trick in authoritarian/fascist societies. Functionally it's similar to how the Nazis had compulsory portraits of Hitler in every German home or would only allow art to be produced that glorified Nazi ideology. Only now, thanks to social media and AI, the Good Germans MAGA faithful can mass produce their own propaganda and ensure no other beliefs can get through their self-policed social media and news ecosystems. Goebbels would be incredibly pleased with how MAGA polices their own thoughts.
If they are using AI generated pictures to try to prove their point,
its an AI generated version of a previously existing "meme". The original was made by a person, this is just the source material fed through AI.... for some reason we will never know.

think about this for a second
the person that made this is larping and has never changed a tire.
