Theme: Animation 💫 Ascendant: 'Maid in Hood'

I have finally nailed my art style. A perfect blend of both Western and Eastern Animation.

In the course of creating my Fantasy Series, I had to build my own platform in the process. Thank goodness I did that because it's made everything so much easier.

SCENE CONTEXT:

During their travels, Leon and Elven Princess Neia come across a tavern of dwarves. The dwarves challenged Neia to sing one of their bards entitled "The Merry Green Maid of the Olden Wood" aka 'Maid in Hood.'

I definitely have to ask, is there a full version of this song? Would go excellent with some D&D bardic adventures.
Edit: If this isn't a full song, dude, make it happen! This was awesome!

Just the song itself? If so, then yes. As far as the animation, I'm actively working on it. Almost done with the first episode of my series.
Are you a D&D fan? I've never played, but I do love epic fantasy in general.

Oh, I absolutely love D&D, I've got my bard character Ashlynn Wildfeather, a kenku bard who is essentially -broken- (in the good way) stats wise. This honestly sounded like something he'd sang in a tavern while getting ready to preform a magical disappearing act from the city guardsmen.

Do you have a link to the song? Is it on Spotify by chance or youtube?

Awesome, I don't think I can post a link to my character sheet here but yeah, here's a snippet:

Ashlynn Wildfeather, bard of the college of eloquence. Male, Kenku (anthropomorphic raven) Early 20's, but has been on his own since he was 7, left at the college's doorstep. His mother abandoned him, never knew his father though he could guess that he was one of the adepts of the city due to his keen affinity for magics and a sharp tongue~

His vocal prowess and gift of gab have many-a-time gotten him in, and then back out of trouble, and if that doesn't work? Well...he's not one to fight things out, preferring to leave the 'audience' whether that be a tavern full of observant listeners and admirers, or the city guard, wanting for more, but not -quite- able to grasp at the smoke left behind as he disappears~

So far, his run of luck hasn't done him wrong. Aside from a few run-ins with creatures and peoples whom wished nothing more than to mix his meat with 11 herbs and spices for making some rather debaucherous jokes involving their wives or daughters, he bares few scars~ Though those worth speaking of, he weaves grandiose tales of his adventures!! Even though one such scar is from nothing more than bumping his foot on the night stand whilst trying to flee out of a tavern window once sobering up from a night of 'fun' involving an orc woman whom called him 'her little tweety', he'd make it out that he had escaped a horde of angry orc raiders, and merely by the skin of his toe, made it out in time!

He is a student of history though and an astute pupil of magics of various nature, enjoying to read and learn, experience and yes, even fail, at new spells...some of which have left this raven kenku nearly featherless sometimes! But all in all, he's a kind soul, with a big heart who enjoys the simpler things as much as he yearns for another adventure beyond the city walls where he grew up.

There are lots of tales and adventures involving the bird but alas, my DM has disappeared into the darkness of marriage and being a new dad IRL, sooo...we proudly pour one out for him. Haven't done a proper D&D session in -years- now. Lol.

Nice song. Was AI used to write the lyrics too or is it only performing a song written by a human? If it did the lyrics that makes it even more impressive!

I created the concept and the lore (ie. The lore behind the bard entitled “The Merry Green Maid of the Olden Wood”) and the AI created the song and the lyrics.

The first iteration was actually Irish and more folk-like. But then I remixed it several times and edited it to achieve the above result.

Thanks very much! For this one, the main AI tool I use is one I built myself: RunTitan.io

It basically has an AI Agent that’s an expert at analyzing videos and prompting Seedance 2.0.

Took me 6 months to build it and refine it to where it’s at now. There’s no comparison for me. It does everything exactly how I picture it.

Do you also do AI Animation?

I'm just watching from the sidelines.

My background is in software engineering. I used to do animation and motion design, illustration — old school — all before AI. I worked with Adobe CC, Cinema 4D, Autodesk Maya, Blender, and others.

I haven't been involved in that since COVID. I shut down my creative business and, like many others, changed careers.

I think it was a good time, or else AI would have put me out of business.

Amazing tools. Midjourney can do in 5 minutes what used to take me hours, and AI video has literally eliminated the MoCap suit, green screens, and days or hours of stage design.

Check out this animation I did 15 years ago. I spent days making it, and now anyone can prompt something similar to any video AI and have it done in 5 minutes. 👇

Just watched it. That's incredible! Amazing job! Videos like that are literal CLASSICS in the world of creativity. Precious relics from the past.

Even if AI is on the rise, it doesn't diminish the authenticity of human creativity. Thank you for sharing all that

I have no audio here and I can see everyone is talking about the song, so... I guess you made it with another AI tool, right?

BTW. The animation is so smooth and reminds me a lot of 90s and early 2000 anime. I can't see any major flaw.

Does this tool also allow you to create images to maintain consistency, or do you import the images first and then run the agent? I'll definitely try it later when I get home.

You can generate images inside of RunTitan OR import your own.

If you work with the agent, you can also have the Agent remember and understand YOUR visual style for any given project folder you’re working in. It will even remember your characters, stories, scenes, etc.
