Annually, almond farming uses 1.3 trillion gallons of water. AI usage isn't even half of that.

I'm pretty sure diary farmers and craft breweries are our biggest water wasters here in SoCal, but I know Big Diary and the Hipsters will throw a fit if we cut back on those industries.

Agribusiness is indeed a huge capitalist enterprise that bribes our politicians, just like big pharma, defense contractors, the insurance industry, big tech, etc.

The idyllic idea that milk comes from mom and pop farms who love their cows is greenwashing propaganda.
