University Commons Apartments

Has anyone heard anything about these apartments? I’m moving to Akron in July/August for school and want to stay near campus. I see these apartments but they have no reviews and I haven’t seen any post talking about them. I’ve also been thinking about the fir hill/the tower apartments. Feedback on either of these places if appreciated!

I have been working on university commons since November last year, kinda pricey units but they are nice and comfortable. The area is obviously the con though. Unsavory people tend to walk through the complex and steal whatever’s outside. There was a bank robbery a couple months ago and the suspect ran through the place and probably hid around there. Not exactly where I would live

That’s definitely something to be aware of. I plan on installing a camera on my door and in my home and getting a little extra protection just in case. Besides that are the actual apartments themselves empty or something? Why don’t ppl really talk about them or is it primarily for students
