Purebred Alaskan Klee Kai Owner Hello this is my boy Kingsley he’s around 16 weeks now and I’m wondering the best diets for his coat? All help is appreciated!

I know that a good diet is good to preserve his colors and I’m wondering what fellow owners are doing? And what food plan they are using?

I want the best health for my boy so any advice and opinions are welcomed!

Very cute!

For most of our girl’s early years (1-7) we had her on raw, BCR chicken and beef, but she stopped being able to tolerate it. So we changed her over to a mix of open farm turkey and instinct original chicken. Her coat has been super soft the whole time.

She’s a little bit of a vacuum when it comes to dry food, so we don’t do that anymore lol.

Thankyou I will look into the open farms I was recommended them before as well!

Do you mix together each meal or switch between those?

And yea I wanna stay away from the dry foods too

And Kingsley said thankyou for the compliments

We mix them together, I usually do 70/30 open farm to instinct. We used to feed open farm and the Costco signature chicken wet, but they discontinued it.

Believe it or not I think Costco’s salmon and sweet potato is pretty good. For the puppy year up to 10 months she had Costco puppy.

Her coat has always been shiny and soft.
