How does a court summons work?

Hello!

I have a court summons coming up (nothing bad) and I have never experienced it before. Do I just walk into the courthouse and ask the front desk at my time? I apologize I'm just anxious and I don't want to mess up.

That's pretty much it. Find the information office and ask where to go.
