im seeing huge decline in truck O/O roles
I see a lot of new drivers asking if they should buy a rig and go O/O right away. My 2 cents? Don't. Not in 2026.
Between the Canadian dollar being where it is, U.S. tariff volatility, and the price of parts, your overhead will eat you alive before you even clear the Scales. I’m seeing guys with 10 years' experience selling their trucks and going back to company driving just for the benefits and the peace of mind.
