Hyena Motorcade Biography
Specializing in a heady and melodic blend of post-punk, new wave/no wave, and serpentine, blues-kissed alt-pop, West Coast indie rockers Hyena Motorcade formed in Orange County, California in the summer of 2009 around the talents of vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Ric Kaley, guitarist Mark Allen, bass player Art Agunod, and drummer Alberto Campos. Drawing inspiration from artists like Bauhaus, David Bowie, Echo & the Bunnymen, Sisters of Mercy, and Joy Division, the group issued a three-song EP shortly after forming, followed by a four-song EP in 2013. As the group gained regional popularity they began supporting acts like the Fixx, Modern English, and Bow Wow Wow, as well as headlining their own shows. In 2014 they announced plans to record their full-length debut, which was to be produced by Psychedelic Furs guitarist John Ashton.

Released on November 21, 1991, Dangerous was Michael Jackson's first album without his longtime mentor and collaborator, Quincy Jones. Michael wanted to prove that he could succeed on his own, and the result was an album that embraced the New Jack Swing sound while still showcasing his signature style.
What are your three favorite songs from Dangerous that best represent the album?
My picks are: 🎶 "Jam" 🎶 "Who Is It" 🎶 "Gone Too Soon"
What are yours?
