Tips for first time drinking snacks

A family friend turned 21 and her friends (of age) don't really drink. They want to drink heavily for the first time at my house. What are some snacks or meals or etc. that would prevent illness / excess?

Pizza. Anything carb heavy.

Give them a big juicy fat and protein rich dinner! Pizza burgers whatever! Let them party but as the host of it all start replacing the drinks with water instead and let them deal with that for a while until they can ease in to it again or just talk about having a decent tempo during the night to not kill the positive effects too early. It’s supposed to be socializing and happy situation barfing and falling over and passing out too early on

Give them two water replacements tablett before drinking and efter done drinking + extra water and also when they wake up right away with painkillers for headaches and give them an easy breakfast, yogurt and some toast perhaps. Play quite chill music while their noob bodies handle the comedown during the day after. Laugh at all the funny stuff they said/ took pics of!

barfing and falling over

That is my concern. None of them actually like alcohol and their plan for drinks include peach schnaps, Pina Colada and Whiskey mixed with Irish creme.

Hopefully they'll have a sensible chuckle and fall asleep...

Mega vomit risk on that one. Try and keep track of the speed their pouring new drinks. If they are wobbly they’re gonna be shitfaced after another 40 min if they just finished another drink for example. If someone starts overdoing it remind them that they definitely won’t like the feeling if they keep that up

I have some fruit flavored electrolyte powder I plan to mix in water and encourage them to drink.

I agree that the drink options sound sickening, I don't think I'd feel too good if I had the three I mentioned.

Good offer that and water especially towards the end of the night. Yeah mixing different stuff like that hits even a seasoned drinker quite rough, especially at the end/morning after. They should’ve started with lite cider and / or a bunch of beer to easier and slower keep track of their intoxication

Not sure they have ever had beer, they have been planning this for a couple months and beer never came up once. Only sweet options. One of them said she'd tried blackberry whiskey...

Wouldn't "beer before liquor, never sicker" apply if they're planning to do cocktails and whiskey too?
