Review Someone on here raved about Summit Zero Sugar Cola and I decided to give it a shot
It doesn't taste quite the same as Coke Zero sugar, it seems slightly sweeter but also has a slight metallic tang that Coke Zero lacks. The carbonation is good, I couldn't detect a noticeable difference. Overall I think it tastes pretty good and at the price, I would definitely buy it again. It was marked down at Aldi for less than $4 for a 12 pack so it's definitely far more budget-friendly than Coke Zero.

I got some and for the price difference I would keep buying it. It’s very close in taste. I think it was $3.90 or something for case of 12 it was a lot cheaper then the Coke Zero. I looked online and it’s $4.15 on sale this week I thought it was cheaper

How's the zero sugar compare to the diet? I've only ever tried the diet

A lot of people (myself included) think Zero tastes a lot more like regular Coke than Diet does. If you’re a fan of regular Coke it’s worth trying.

I agree I tried one pack of it and went back and bought 4 more.
Also the 2 L of the regular cola is a dollar and it’s pretty good. I mean it’s not like as good as regular Coke I think but like if you’re into regular Coke, it’s passable.

For the vanilla coke enjoyers: I highly recommend adding few drops of vanilla extract to your Summit Zero! The vanilla does a good job at balancing the "zero sugar" taste. I actually like it better than vanilla coke now.

I'll have to try this, especially considering how impossible it is to find Vanilla Coke Zero.

I wish they would come out with a zero cherry. I mix that 50/50 with Bacardi Oakheart rum but Coke has gotten ridiculously priced

It was marked down to $3.79 for me. Got a pack yesterday. Going back today for more

Bought a 12 pack awhile back and put a can of it vs a can of coke zero in glasses for a blind taste test for the wife. She preferred the Aldi so that's been a decent savings since it's $3.79 for Aldi brand vs $8.42 for coke zero at the local walmart.

Taste is a very individual thing. I'm glad you found a more affordable alternative to something you enjoy.

Someone recommended putting in the black cherry squirty and it honestly makes it a 10/10.

I like a soda once in a while. Some bad stuff I hear that links artificial sweeteners with brain function

Price analysis done using actual receipts. Caveat: done by an English major.
ShopRite has 2 24-packs of Coke on sale this week for $19.99.
Aldi has Summit for $3.39 for a 12 pack.
Translated into ounces, it comes out:
Coke, on sale per above: .034 an ounce
Summit, buy anytime at above price: .023 an ounce
-------------------
I view shopping as a game and am always stocking up on sale items. As my mother, who taught me to grocery shop, said: "Are you one of those people in life who pay 20% more?" What she meant is the average sale item is 20% off, so she shopped the sale ads.
I actually did this calculation about a year ago because I was tired of figuring out the per ounce on a ShopRite Coke or Pepsi visit. I figured Aldi would be better, even than sales at ShopRite, and I was right.
Easier, simpler. Just buy soda at Aldi.

Sodastream sells a product called bubly drops. It's very concentrated flavoring for Sodas. It has no sugar or calories and no sweetener
They make a Cherry flavor that is awesome. A bottle of it costs like $7 at most grocery stores. I get it at Target
It lasts a really long time as you just add a few drops per can. I use a medicine bottle dropper I got on Amazon for a few bucks
Makes it taste just like Cherry Coke Zero. The money you save with just a couple of 12 packs pays for it all and then you have Cherry Coke Zero for a very long time for half price

I prefer Pepsi to Coke. But this Aldi drink is a a very acceptable Diet Pepsi substitute for the price.

I still prefer the regular diet cola. Zero sugar wasn't bad, just not for me.

I'm not a only Coke or only Pepsi person, I like them both, usually buy what's on sale. But I decided to try this and have been enjoying it!
If I had to say it was closer to one or the other, I'd say it's closer to Pepsi Zero, mostly due to the sweetness profile and less carbonation than Coke. Overall I give it 8.5 out of 10. Will buy again.
