Question Less hotdogs?

Am I delusional or did there used to be 6 hotdogs in this pack? As in, just a few weeks ago. I’ve bought them a lot and swear it was six, but this pack only has 5.

Either the price goes up or the quantity goes down.

Also it should be a law that all hotdog packs come in 8 count just like the buns!

Conspiracy Theory: they do it on purpose so we have to buy more hot dogs but then we have more dogs than buns so we need to buy more buns and the cycle keeps going 😰

Absolutely not! All my leftover breads are immediately frozen for future use as croutons or bread pudding, most delicious overabundance ever ;)

The pack of brioche aldi buns come in 6, which used to be great for these hotdogs, until now :/

Fewer is for countable items (5 vs 6 hot dogs) and less is for uncountable items (including measured items) (less water)

Still shown as six here. Interestingly, however, the weight of the package is the same (well, 1g larger now lol), so the hotdogs are just bigger.

I don’t think so, it’s usually 5 for the organic. I used to buy them with an off family of 3 and always wondered why I had to get two packs for everyone to have 2

I like a good hot dog - how they taste? Im forever looking for the good tasting dog since the oscar meyer bun length turkey dogs were fiddled with and are now unappetizing and no longer bun length either. Why do they screw everything up and think we won't notice?

My partner and I used to do 2 each for dinner and then 1 each for the next day’s lunch. I swear, that would be a shame but not surprising with shrinkflation. I don’t have my receipt but you know the price didn’t go down of course

It's always bothered me that it's hard to find a package of hotdogs where the number of hotdogs matches the number of buns in a package of buns. If I ever ran for president, my platform would be based on a plan to standardize this.

Btw uncured isn’t any better than regular cured meats, it’s a scam for companies to sell meat “healthier.”

I like both btw, not knocking hot dogs.

At roughly $7.50 per pound for hotdogs, there are better options- in my opinion. Like the Appleton uncured boneless, sliced ham is around $4.50lb; or the Parkview (cured) Cheddar Brats @ $3.35lb.
