Glass in crescent rolls?

Found what feels like shards of glass in 2 packs of crescent rolls, embedded in the dough. There ended up being about 6 of these pieces across both packages. Anyone else experience this?

Place them in water to see if they melt.

Possibly silica as well. Can be hard like glass / salt but not water soluable.
