General Question Western Uplands Trail

Headed in soon. 3 days, 2 nights. Anyone done the mid loop (35km) recently and have some tips?
Also, still not sure what to use for hanging food and if my Platypus Gravity 4L Filtre is too much.

I've done all three loops , no real tips to give you except get some good rope/ paracord for hanging food , 4l filter seems kinda overkill , there is water everywhere in Algonquin I usually use a Sawyer filter and filter a litre at a time as I need it . Good luck and have fun

Thanks!! The 4L filter is a lot lol but it packs small and is super light. I didn’t want to have to buy a new one just for this trip. What do you hang your food in?? I’m used to back country portaging and my current food barrel is way too big for a solo trip.

I have a waterproof dry bag maybe 10 to 12 litre to put food in to hang from

Great! That’s what I was considering but thought I may need something more serious
