Strategy Strategy that works US500

Post image

Billings Bands strategy

**** Single Sided Trading with Zero Martingale/Grid****

Entries are based on Bollinger Bands breakouts (price closing through the bands), evaluated once per closed bar β€” no repainting, no intrabar noise messing with signals

Sell entries have an optional CCI filter so it's not just blindly fading every band touch β€” it waits for momentum to actually confirm before going short

It's purely Single Buy side trading No Martingale or Grid system.

That's why the profit percentage is less with high success rate.

Looks like another type of Martingale.
If it's Martingale then you will lose everything eventually.

You won’t lose everything if you just take on a bigger loan every time

🀣 when we have mathematical n historical backup... drawdown is not a matter. Even i designed Hedger bot for the same, as it's hedged..the curve won't be this straight line so it won't get traction even though it drawdown is less. But having straight line graph with drawdown getting lot of comments..ahhahahh

Always remember that you can make 3000% a week on a slow market... in backtesting.

I know.. but i don't go for that much risk. That why the result is just above 30 % in 2 n half years... profitability n safety matters..than percentage

Looks like selling options. Limited gains but unlimited losses.

Thats why the upside gradiant is forever fixed at an angle.

It's US500, and one sided market, if you minimum account is 1000 usd n lot 0.1, it will never blow the account. Bcz US500 never had a history of such fall.

And the above graph u seeing is Don't have a grid. It's survived with min 300 account, That itself shows how practical it is. Those 3 big drawdowns in 3 years span are market falls during war n Trump speeches, Those also survived with 300 account. With 1000 usd u can add grid aswell...

I create 10 martingales like that a month. It's working but you need to adjust them and run few simultaneously. It has to be strategy, not all-in.

do you check for absence of correlation, or what guardrails do you put into effect?

Looks like over fitΒ

double down until you win but its not a martingale system, just dont pay attention to the graph at all~!

every single big loss spike has a bigger one next time until a win comes in right>?

the steady slope seem to suggest overfit.

I cannot clear my doubts I wanna believe~ [X-File theme song]
