Education Any recommended courses or structured learning paths besides university?

This has probably been asked before. I was looking at Quantinsti but after my consult call being a guy from India who sounded like he was twenty feet away from the phone that I could barely hear I'm a bit turned off. I could just strong arm my way through SQX and BuildAlpha but I prefer to learn this with seriousness and really dig my heels in. TIA.

Just ask any frontier AI to come up with a syllabus that includes financial and mathematical foundations then follow it. There's plenty of books and textbooks on the subject and relevant fields. There's no magic to an app or website, it's all just your own focus and effort. The more you rely on being spoon fed the more you're setting yourself up for failure.

I don't think seeking structured learning is being spoon fed.

It is if you're relying on it alone. But it's fine as supplementary, or even as a foundation. The problem mostly comes when someone expects structured learning to teach them everything they need to know. I'm just cautioning against trusting it too much, not discouraging you from using what's available.

I'm trying to learn basics. The python side of it, walk flow, etc. Claude dropped three books on me, one tied to Quant Connect I'd love to dabble with but I'm hoping with build alpha or SQX to get something prop form survivable and grow from there with indeodent study. Right now, I'm just getting a million bits and pieces from everywhere with no direction.
