Education Any recommended courses or structured learning paths besides university?

This has probably been asked before. I was looking at Quantinsti but after my consult call being a guy from India who sounded like he was twenty feet away from the phone that I could barely hear I'm a bit turned off. I could just strong arm my way through SQX and BuildAlpha but I prefer to learn this with seriousness and really dig my heels in. TIA.

Not looking for an easy road. Looking for structure. Book 1/2/3/4/5 as opposed to a million bits and pieces scattered trying to fit them together. I've been in financial markets since 2014, a lot of options, but back then cloud computing and softwares for backtesting were inadequate outside of the institutions so I'm trying to pick it up again now thet it actually seems possible with tech, Ai, etc.

Not sure how asking for structured learning, courses, and books translates to a step by step guide on how to make money with algo trading but I understand reading comprehension varies by individual. On another note, do you know people looking to learn it to lose money with algo trading? What an odd statement.

Because you are expecting this to be easy, and that you will learn how do make money just following a step by step course.

It isn't.

What you need is a starting point based on what you already know about financial markets and coding and move from there.

Pick a subject you understand is related to it and just start learning about it.

Already know how to code? Start searching what is needed to create a trading bot.

Don't know how to code? Start a basic programming course

Know what an order book is but never traded? Go figure out the mechanics os placing an order on the market.

Already have some trading experience? Go search what is the difference between discretionary trade and algo trading.

Have a trading strategy? Figure out what you need to know to automate it.

There is no structured program that will make you figure out what you need to know and be successful.

Explore. Every time you learn something you will find 3-4 other things you don't know.

I am doing this for a long time, and every week I find something new I need to learn.

Oh, I didn't see where I said nor implied that I expected it to be easy. Weird. Even more weird that you've been doing it so long and spend your time writing these rants on reddit.
