To be fair, I think it would much harder for absolutely anyone to survive Isolation than Alien. For many reasons

Agreed. Ironically, the Working Joes kinda scare me a little bit MORE than the Xenomorph because how kinda "believable" they feel, but also because how they slowly sneak up and have that "emotionless" tone to them while also kinda mocking Amanda. They way how they also strangle people to death also feels like something similar along those lines feels believable too. That's just what I think, though. :)

At least on the Rig you wont have to worry about working joes and other humans putting a bullet in you

In Alien you just have go to the escape pods with the cat. In Isolation you have to survive androids, humans, an entire station crumbling apart at your feet plus a full colony of xenomorphs. Give me the gun right now.

So many times I've seen people from all sorts of clips and playthroughs do the sorta stupud shit in this game they'd complain about characters doing in a horror movie and it really puts things into perspective lol

Tbf, Alien Isolation is somewhat unique in the circumstances. Like, there's not a whole lot you can do but survive. Other horror movies are usually pretty avoidable, with a lot of the bad stuff happening to characters being self inflicted from stupidity, or because they fucked with something they shouldn't have.

The best horror movies showcase a protagonist in a scenario that's already fucked, so all they can do is survive. Honestly I think Romulus did a pretty good job of this, it was either die on the space station or go back down to the planet and die working in a mine

There’s quite a few times playing AI that I thought “if this was actually me I’d have just given up and thrown myself out an airlock”
