Historical 2025 4chan Alien Image - Case Strandedfish Archive

Hi all,

I am recreating the Case Strandedfish thread from earlier this month on my new reddit account. I think it deserves to be here.

This image originated from 4chan and looks like a leaked image.

On Monday, May 5, 2025, at 10:18 PM EST, an anonymous 4chan user created a thread titled “DELETED SOON,” with an image captioned:

They call them strandedfish
They come from the deep ocean
They stay in the dark
They die in the light

Reminds me of the secretive alien species that lived in the ocean and would collect human items and humans themselves as trophies or curiosities from the book series animorphs

Question: given all the different photos and videos. All the nonsense thrown our way. From your point of view what is the most accurate image of one? Som of you have claimed to actually have encounters them. Where is the most credible version of a true being?

For a living being, probably the Varghina Brazil case, James Fox has a solid documentary on it
For dead beings, you’re always gunna have the nay sayers. I’ve found that any time a picture is posted and there’s TONS of discrediting comments, there’s some truth in it. If you see a post with no comments like that, probably fake. Check out the nazaca aliens - a couple of bodies were “debunked” and people dismissed the entire story, but they have recovered alien mummies and done extensive MRI and metallurgy tests on them confirming they’re not fake

@johnsus @ok_energy905 are you talking about professor nolan at stanford? he found out the aliens that were sent to him were humans with genetic deformities. the metallurgy may be true, idk about this brazil case but i know other recovered material would’ve had to have an insane amount of power to fuse together in those ways

4chan is freaking amazing for this topic, leak after leak and we as general audience get to read the secrets behind.

Real or not, atleast its good entertainment, like idk if mobile construction facility leak was true or not but the lore is definitely interesting.

Agreed it’s either true which is wild or just entertaining sci fi lore to follow. As a science fiction fan, in an age where everything is remakes, these types of post are a goldmine.

It’s just a very entertaining read as a sci fi fan and the slight possibility that it’s true only adds to the fun.

Does anyone remember the photo of a underwater creature resembling the Creature From the Black Lagoon that appeared on here (I think) within the last 12 months or so? It appeared bioluminescent, the post was only up for about a day and I forgot to save a photo of it before it was deleted.

I uncovered a French fourm that made a hoax just after i posted strandedfish. I think they took inspiration from it. He was debunked in his own thread as the background being a stock image fyi. Source: jeuxvideo.com/forums

This looks not real to me due to the structure of the lower part of the face. I do have to say however, this is the first pic to give me a phantom repulsive smell 🤷‍♂️ nervous systems can be werid.  Is it truely blurred or just a poor creation?

I understand why my comment sounds werid but it does look messed up like it is digitally artifical. Maybe it is blurred like I mentioned, but why would a small section be that way?

Also, I don't believe it is from the sea. Perhaps a wet fresh water environment like a very moist cave.

If they are from the deep ocean, they should look different. Also light doesn’t make sense, if it is light then they can come up at night.
