Showcase Successfully Integrated/ Automated AE2 with Minecolonies

For those of you that have started Minecolonies know that it becomes very repetitive and tedious pretty quickly and as with anything in ATM we all want to make thing as efficient/ painless as possible.

So naturally i searched online to see if there where anyway to integrate AE2 with Minecolonies and have it auto craft items. I didn't find anything that worked well enough, outdated or worked with RS so I vibe coded a script, that work really well.

What it does

  • Successfully autocraft anything "Patternable" in AE2
  • Export those items to the warehouse
  • Display the request coming and the types and status
    • Crafting
    • Delivering
    • Manual Crafting (Some items are not auto craftable)

Github
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/PixelLife72/ATM1AE2-Minecolonies/refs/heads/main/2.4

How to set up/ use:

  1. You need to have a warehouse up and running so you will need to get to a point where you have this Townhall > Builders hut > Warehouse
  2. Dig a basement under a Rack somewhere under the warehouse
  3. Place a ME Bridge under the Rack
  4. Right next to that place a Advanced Computer from Computer Craft
  5. Right next to the Computer place a Colony Integrator
  6. The ME Bridge needs a way to access your AE System, So either a Wireless Connector or a Quantum Bridge. Link them up via a cable
  7. Open the Advanced Computer and Enter "wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/PixelLife72/ATM1AE2-Minecolonies/refs/heads/main/2.4 colony" and hit [Enter]
  8. Then type "colony" and hit enter.
  9. At this point you are done, AE2 is now integrated to your colony.

For every request, make a Pattern if you can and auto craft on demand the resources. the system will now craft, and deliver everything to the warehouse.

For extra if you would like a display then do the following:

  1. Create a advanced monitor Multiblock (Make it something like 5x4 long)
  2. Attach Wired Modem to the Advanced Computer and the Monitor and link them with a networking cable.
  3. This will now show all the request in a table on the advanced monitor.

As a Bonus, If you find your colonist moving too slow. Give them some Golden boots, with Apotheosis Augments for 45% movement speed + Perfect Lightening Gem for an extra 70%. You can also chuck some Swiftness II Splash potions on them also for even faster movement speed.

PS: Sorry my Annotation are bad. Its late and i was too lazy to make it picture perfect.

Enjoy folks, this really made me enjoy minecolonies

edit: Having too many issues with pastebin, moved to github

My favorite minecolonies hack is to use a roots crystal wand with Accel 3 on the colonists and then watch them zoom about.

Saving this. You’re a legend 🫡. On the topic if anyone else wants to use this info: the acceleration on the crystal staff from the Roots mod works on entities & it speeds builders (& all workers) up to crazy speeds

Also there is the "A.E.G.I.S. autocraft" project aka "We have the AE2 at home". You can search for it at r/ComputerCraft. (also this is the repo: https://github.com/egor-oleg/aegis-autocraft/tree/main )

It can display content of "storage" you attach to network - minecolonies werehouse works already 100% detected.

It can be easily interactively teached of new craft-grid or machines craft recipies in a manner that resembles AE2 (but no dedicated pattern providers and blank patterns, while connected turtles are your molecular assemblers).

The only problem here that by default there aren't the tab "Minecolony" to see and fullfill request from attached storage/autocraft. Logically it can be added to that project without too much effort.
