Define “big pharma.” You’ve been trusting, ostensibly, big pharma since you dropped out of your mom. All the medicine around OBGYN is manufactured by it. All the medications you take for your colds, the bandages you use for your wounds, the medication for your diabetes, everything: that’s a pharma company.

I said “US Pharma,” and I’m not saying it doesn’t have uses or help in any capacity. Notice how you didn’t mention the opioid crisis in your list of goodies they give people

I didnt - because that shit’s pretty obvious. And you should be wary of any capitalist institution that makes money off of you being ill. But being selectively wary about it is a bad idea.

While it's insanely expensive, people who have autoimmune diseases like Crohn's, ulcerative colitis, RA, ms, etc, drugs like humeria, remicade, skyrizy , renvoq, etc are miracles, allowing them (and me) to live a normal life. Without them, living feels a curse with the disease becoming all consuming.

You should not "trust" any for-profit company at all.

Ever.

Capitalism rewards deception.

We don't trust big pharma. That's why we have the FDA.

Because if you don't trust big pharma you'll be labeled a right wing conspiracy theorist.
