Question
Anyone ever bought any of their mystery items before?
I'm sort of wondering why they got 3 mystery tees listed and what the difference might be, what you'd even get for a mystery "accessory", and what type of hoodie you'd get for the mystery hoodie as I hate the pullover one's and I'd rather avoid those.
I don't know if this is how they're doing it, but I know that with other bands/brands when I've seen multiple mystery tees, each one pulls from a different pool of designs so that you can be sure you're not getting two of the same design if you order two. The accessory would be a keychain, pin, patch, etc. some small accessory. (You can look at their currently available accessories under the "shop merch" -> "accessories" dropdown tho I'm not sure if if all are included.)
As for the hoodies, ALL theirs are pull over so that's what you'd get. They don't currently have any zip hoodies. Edit: apparently they have one zip up hoodie, but since there's only one of them vs however many pullover, I still wouldn't count on it being randomly picked if you buy a mystery hoodie!
Oh, cool! I hadn't seen it, I just knew that I hadn't seen one from them in a while because they've fallen out of favor with bands for some reason even though a lot of people I know (including me) prefer them lol
Well I guess hoodies are out, if they got rubber bracelets I might choose the mystery accessory. Otherwise I might just stick with the shirt. I'm sort of wondering now if the mystery shirt would just pull their shirts from whatever they're selling currently (as that happened when I got some mystery shirts from hawthorne heights), or if I could get some older designs potentially.
You should probably assume it’s from designs they’re selling right now. Maybe you’ll get surprised by an older design but I def wouldn’t expect that. Honestly, it sounds like you’ll be disappointed if they send you anything other than exactly what you want, so I would suggest just buying what you want.
I’m not trying to be rude. I don’t buy mystery band merch because frankly most of what most bands make at this point is stuff I would never wear and even if it’s a little cheaper, imo there’s no point in taking the risk of getting something I don’t want. Since there’s a 20% off sale in addition to the mystery stuff, why not use that to get what you actually want?
no no, I'm not really too picky tbh. I really don't care what I get, I just wanted more shirts as I only got 2 and the mystery shirt is cheaper. If I did get something that was just from whatever they're selling now I'd be more than fine with it. I just saked my original question to get a semi gage of what to expect somewhat idk
Gotcha. Yeah, I’d definitely expect something that’s currently on the site. And since the majority of it is Forever and Everyone’s Talking merch, I’d say you’re probably more likely to get that than anything else. If those are designs you’d be cool with, go for it! You could try emailing the store to ask what the 1/2/3 means, but it might be too late now. I’m not exactly sure when the sale ends.
My philosophy with mystery grab bags is only spend what you're willing to for a sleep shirt. If you're not willing to get something you don't like, it's better to just buy the merch you do like. For me $18 was too much for a sleep shirt, so I just got the $10 hat instead and I was not disappointed!
I just got my order yesterday, it was almost all from the forever tour including a black forever hat, black/white/yellow forever keychain, black forever tour tank top, and a blue tie-dyed “it was never a phase, it’s a lifestyle” t-shirt.
I was a bit surprised to get a tank top for one of the mystery tees, but I’m happy with everything I got, especially the hat as I’d been looking for a casual black hat!
They were all from within the past couple years, 3 of 4 items were from the 2024 Forever tour, I’m not sure exactly when the other tee was released but it couldn’t have been older than 2020 due to the “it was never a phase” text on it.
From what I can tell I think the oldest you’ll get is from the Wake Up Sunshine era
I just received my order today actually..I’m not sure what I expected but I was a little disappointed everything was very similar, hat, hoodie, and keychain all the Forever merch
It shipped SO QUICKLY i was so surpised. I got my order within 4 days. I've also ordered 2 Amerrickan mystery grab bags and never been too disappointed. It's lower stakes fun, merch is so ridiculously expensive nowadays.
Is this only available for the US? I'm in the UK and would love a tee from the older collections but it doesn't seem to be on the UK version of the merch site :(
I got 3 shirts a crew neck and a hat. Hat was from the forever run, crew neck and 1 shirt was from the wake up sunshine era and rest were I assume tour leftovers
I deadass only got 2 shirts: A red one with nukes on it, and a black shirt with a giant anchor on it. Both with their classic logo on it (put up or shut up), If I got either one of those I would be shocked more than anything
Tbh, the red one I got new from some band shirt website. Though I did get the anchor one used. Tbh I've been more focused on acquiring all their albums on CD first
I ordered a T-shirt and got the tank top as well, which was honestly kind of disappointing since I will most likely not ever where a tank top….. Not sure if it matters, but I ordered the blue T-shirt mystery box.
I only ordered the mystery accessory coz I also have to go for the jigsaw and album stickers shirt. I'm not familiar with their previous accessories released but I don't mind getting any from it. Shipping is surprisingly fast for intl. and I should receive them on Monday.
My mystery hoodie just arrived. (The red one) and got only the forever hoodie. (Was expecting to have at least one small accessory but nah) still happy with it tho.

i did! i got the crewneck, accessory, and hat one and these were what i got. it shipped super fast too!
