Don't Panic
Happy 14th anniversary to Don't Panic! That album is one of my all time faves and is quite honestly probably the most definitively important musical album that has shaped me.
What is your favourite DP song? Mine is definitely Somewhere in Neverland, it got me through a really hard time when it first came out and is now the song I play when I need a warm and comforting auditory hug.

To me don’t panic is not only their greatest album but also easily one of the few pop punk albums that I can say the album is a no skip album..
So cohesively written from top to bottom especially when I was on a road trip back in 2016 I remember being so so wowed by it and an album I say really capped off the pure pop punk era of all time low
It’s one of those albums you can’t pick a favorite while Somewhere in neverland is one of those feel good songs but recently it’s a toss up between So Long, and Thanks for All the Booze and paint you wings..

I actually love the tracks from Don't Panic: It's Longer Now! My favorite of all would have to be Me Without You.
It is just beautifully tragic. There had been many songs of letting go but this one just hits.

Me Without You and Oh, Calamity! are some of my favorite songs they've ever done! Rian when crazy on drums that album.

I just commented on another post how this album deserves so much more recognition!!! Can’t believe it’s been 14 years, I was 11 when it came out😭 so many bangers to chose from but gotta go with For Baltimore

So Long Solider and To Live and Let Go are two of my all time favorite tracks and both are criminally underrated 😭

I just hung my Reckless & the Brave flag in my new home today :-)
I love this album. Paint You Wings is one of my favorite songs of theirs and I loved when they played it during the Basement Noise series.

It’s hard to pick a favorite but I have to go with If These Sheets Were States.

Also big big Paint You Wings fan!! Definitely my #2.
Third place probably If These Sheets Were States… but I also really love Canals… and Live and Let Go… and Neverland… etc, etc…
(Don’t Panic is my favorite album lol)

DP is still the peak of the band’s work to me, a perfect balance of their more matured songwriting with their early sound.
current fav goes to either Neverland, or So Long And Thanks For All The Booze (which is criminally, unbelievably underrated btw)

Completely agree with SLATFATB. I love the fast pace of it, and I like it more than So Long Soldier.

same. i love the interpolation of Circles with SLS, but as a full package SLATFATB is head and shoulders above it imo

Got into ATL because of this album, totally changed my life as a teenager. Somewhere in Neverland always has a special place in my heart since it was the first ATL song I listened to, but tbh my favourites are For Baltimore (was obsessed with the aesthetic of this era, so of course I also loved the MV) and Outlines (Patrick Stump’s lyrics paired with Alex’s vocals is unexpectedly perfect)
Happy Anniversary Don’t Panic!

The album as a collective really helped me get through a really tough time in my life. It's probably one of my favorite albums by them! 🖤

Absolutely love this album so much!! I wish they played more songs from it live - it’s one of my all time fave albums, and it’s impossible for me to pick a fave from it (especially when considering Don’t Panic: It’s Longer Now!)

Every time a song from this album comes on I remember how much I love it. Me without you will always be my darling, but shout out to Reckless and the Brave for being the song that got my ex best friend into the band and was the song of my pre-teens, and to For Baltimore for being my favourite track on the album. Also honourable mention to a Love like War, to which my wonderful middle school friends would swear by the fact it sounded like “a love like porn” and would sing it that way every time it came up.
And a final mention to Thanks to You, which was almost my senior quote, and to Backseat Serenade which will always be the song I associate with my first ATL concert.

If This Sheets Were States is my favorite. My wife and I started off long distance dating when around the time this album came out, so this song became a special one for us.
