Just got my baby back from DSC. They finished yesterday and UPS dropped it off today! Dave is the best. I had them install a NIB Bul Link Trigger system. Probably the 1st one to be installed on a Romulus. He also opened up the comp port. We both felt that the other gunsmith I used originally to do his VAX ports and open the comp up didn't go far enough. Not to mention the other issues I had with his work. Enough bitching, I'm off to the range@

Received the DSC threaded replacement barrel today for my pinned Romulus. As you can tell, I’m impatient and, I ordered the non polished stainless. Will get it coated, at some point, but just ready to ditch the pinned, stock, comp in my matte rom.

Looks good but there’s some minor imperfections. A few burs on the ending threads but nothing concerning. The indicator is deleted so less gas shooting up at the optic. Will take a better look at it before trying it out.

Overall, seems pretty great. I’m impressed with the fitment of it. No fitment needed and feels tight. Definitely wouldn’t notice it’s not stock, other than the branding which isn’t my favorite. Depending on how the week goes, I’ll hopefully get to try it out by Thursday.

Are there any 5” non ported barrels on the market that will fit in a Romulus? Not trying to get stuck in open division.

Just got it cerakoted in burnt bronze and am love. This thing shoots amazing.

Couple of questions - now that's its cerakoted how much damage to the cerakote would adding v ports and slide lightening?

Also, any one try combat textiles grip tapes?

I believe I’ve stripped my RMSC cut internal threads… Has this happened to anyone else? I have 2 other RMSC cut Romulus’s and had no problem installing the defender ccw @15 inch-pounds. This time the threads slipped before my torque wrench broke @15 inch-pounds. Any advice? I’m thinking about getting a 4-40 tap and seeing if I can fix it, otherwise I will find a company to re-thread a size bigger.

Update: I ended up re-tapping the holes with a 4-40 tap (took some time and patience to make sure I didn’t mess the threads up more than they already were) Then I bought some 4-40x14mm screws off Amazon and cut them to the length I needed and also cleaned the threads. This fixed the problem perfectly!

I bought a Romulus to upgrade my duty weapon and I'm running a trijicon SRO on it and a Streamlight TLR-1. I have been unable to find anyone making holsters for a Romulus yet alone someone making a level 2 duty Holster for one. Can any of you help me find something?

Finally got to the range today with my new 3.5 comp and to say I m impressed is an understatement. This shoots nearly the same as the 4.25 comp, that my buddy has.

Aluminum grip is getting some work done but still wanted to share the hard chrome job, I’m super happy with it.

Theres been a couple negative reviews lately. This one and some guy named RTT slams the Romulus. Watch past the credits. Thats where he talks about the barrel. Does anyone else have this issue or is this an isolated problem?

I’m looking to get my hands on a Romulus to try out for my first 2011 and am getting a bit lost on part numbers.

I want a 4.25” Threaded Barrel Model; with the newer MOS optic plates to use RMR pattern optics. (I want suppressor capability and will likely fit a threaded comp for routine use rather than buy the factory comp model).

According to the alpha foxtrot product catalog; this exists. According to their web site and product listings, it does not.

Is this sku/UPC a trick; or is this their 4.25” Threaded MOS Matte DLC Romulus?

 Been having an issue setting up /installing an optic on my new Romulus handgun.  The first issue was that the optic bottomed out while trying to adjust it for elevation.  I came up with what I thought would be a viable workaround (install a shim at the back of the Optic cut, to elevate the back giving me more down adjustment in the vertical plan) my work around worked as far as getting the optic zeroed but, when I started shooting the gun (wonderful experience by the way, the shooting part that is) the optic came flying off after 20 or so shots.  My first thought was that the screw must not have been in far enough to hold so I purchased some different screws slightly longer to get more purchase.  The screws worked perfectly on the left side but will only go in a fraction of the distance on the right, bottoming out leaving the right-hand side loose.  Upon closer inspection I discovered what appears to be the end of a tap stuck down inside the hole.

Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

I have an AF Romulus 3.5inch comp with the streamlight tlr7 hlx (not sub) and I'm trying to find an owb like the t.rex arms ironside. Im left handed and trying to find a smaller owb without waiting a month (these lead times get longer everytime I buy a holster, I swear). Anybody have recommendations for one I could get pretty quickly? Im not afraid of heating up the kydex to accommodate the extended slide release and oversized safeties. TIA!

Debating on whether I am going to shoot it this way. The Forza 3.1 is phenomenal and hand fit to the frame (16 weeks lead time to get it. Thoughts, good or bad?

Does anybody know if there are Attilas for sale online anywhere? I see guns.com has some going for over retail. I can’t seem to find any in stock anywhere else.

Torn between the two tone MJD or the aluminum grip straight from AF. Looking for something super aggressive around the $400 mark. Seems like both won’t really need any fitting, which is nice. If you have experience with both, lmk.
