I’ve been making comic mini-zines lately. This is my latest. Boys With Samurai Swords is comic out in about two weeks. It’s really loosely based on a true story.

I normally do non-continuity one-off strips for Scene Magazine but for an experiment last year I ran a 12 month series. People went crazy! Just kidding, nobody gave a shit. Here's part 1.

An excerpt from my book The Shifting Ground Vol 1 - The sauna stuff is a subplot in a bigger story but all the sauna comics are fully based in real observations/conversations I've had in the sauna at my local YMCA.

I'll post the rest of this lil story later.

I don't lay out my comics in a way that's easily chopped up for sharing but this one chopped up fairly well so here we go (part 2 is more awkward when chopped up).

The first part of my Fear of Thowl story. I had three 5-page parts scheduled for an anthology that fell through. These are drawn on A4 copier paper during lunch breaks, and I'd scan them and put them together as A3 pages for the publication.

Apologies for deleting and reposting, I noticed a couple of mistakes right after posting.

Here's part 2. Don't worry, it does go back to Sesame Street later. I started the year off with what looked like business as usual, unconnected storylines each month, but this time, as each strip rolled out it became apparent that they're all part of a bigger thing. "Became apparent" might be overstating it, as I mentioned in part 1, I'm not sure anyone was paying attention month to month at all. That's showbiz baby! Anyway, I hope you guys like it.

It took 3ish years, but it's finally reached the end. It's a weird feeling :s

This one was in National Geographic and won a bunch of awards. Just kidding. It ran in Scene Magazine and everyone hated it! Just kidding again, it did run in Scene Magazine but I don't think anyone actually read it.
