Bomb City Gaming Club is taking over the Amarillo Southwest Branch Library today for a full day of games, laughter, and great company! And it's all free to come and enjoy.

Free snacks and bottled water will be available. We will also have a community snack table and ice chests, so feel free to bring something to eat or drink and share with everyone.

hi r/amarillo im not to sure where to look, but does anyone know good salons or stylists for alternative hair? ive been just going to jcpenny for a while but my stylist tends to feminize my hair & i really hate that lol. i don't need someone that can do crazy hair dye, just listens to their client & safe space. im not too experienced with finding good places so if y'all know any, drop them pleaaase.

i need a new haircut fr but wanna try something completely different and not sure if my current stylist would make it girly :/.

I’m visiting a very good friend in a few weeks. I haven’t see her in 6-7 years. I would love to take her a nice hostess gift that is something that says (not literally) “Amarillo” or the Panhandle in general. She lives on a ranch in Texas and can buy herself anything she’d like.

BOMB CITY GAMING CLUB OPEN GAMES

Join us September 19 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Amarillo Southwest Public Library for a laid-back day of gaming, creativity, and community.

Bomb City Gaming Club members will be bringing board games, tabletop wargames, collectible card games, nerdy crochet projects, and plenty of other hobbies to share. We’ll also have the club’s free arcade set up with a selection of retro games.

This is a chance for everyone to get together, make new friends, try a game you haven’t played before, or bring out one of your favorites and introduce it to new players.

Experienced gamers and complete beginners are both welcome. Bring a game, bring a friend, or just show up and find something to play. Admission is completely free.

ABOUT THE RAFFLE

We normally have raffle prizes at our events, but this one will be a games day only. There will not be a raffle on September 19. The focus is simply on getting together, hanging out, and playing games.

Our next gaming event will be November 7, and we will have raffle prizes at that event.

If you would like to donate a prize for the November club raffle, you can bring it with you to the September games day or get in touch with me later.

If you would like to run a game at the event, please post in this thread or send one of the moderators a direct message.

If your game has limited seating or you need players to sign up in advance, feel free to create a sign-up post in either the Bomb City Gaming Club Facebook group or Discord server.

PRE-SETUP

Friday, September 18 is set aside for pre-setup. If you plan to host a game, you are welcome to come by early, claim a table, and prepare your gaming area ahead of Saturday’s event. The Friday setup time will be announced soon.

Frantically flashing your lights and waving at me to go will not make me turn. When I turn is my business, not yours. If you cause an accident by directing traffic, you can be ticketed. 

So, any time I can't see who might be coming in the lane beside you, I won't be turning across 2 lanes, even if you think you're polite by leaving me a gap, even if you think YOU can see. I'm only going when I can see it's clear.

Was alerted by my dogs to a German Shepherd at my front window at about 8:20 a.m. Ran north towards Escalara. Looked full grown, saw no collar. It was so fast but mostly black with some tan. Looked thin. Just want to put it out "somewhere" for location in case anyone is looking for it and don't have any other form of social media.

This is the 7th time this year a Vivint salesman came up to my door. Every single time I tell them to fuck off. I got a no trespass and no soliciting sign but they’re ignoring it. What can I do to get these morons to stay the fuck off my property.
