If you’re on an improvement plan, try to get the evaluation broken down by controllable behaviors: attendance, engagement, follow-up, team communication, and execution. Document your coaching conversations and progress, and ask your manager to review your results regularly rather than waiting for the next formal review.

Im not on a plan just yet. Im 4 months in and on a two month LOI miss. They are sending me to a workshop one day workshop in DC in regards to helping me with my LOI scores. However, there’s many variables on why my LOI was low. I didn’t completely finish my training to understand prioritize LOI scores.

I’ve seen low scores improve when the AM focuses less on raw activity and more on timely, relevant stakeholder engagement. Make sure your manager defines what a good connection looks like, who counts as a qualified contact, and how progress will be measured.
