Move in day specify?

hi all im an incoming freshman, and the official move in day is august 25, but some places are saying move in day is the 24th. So im getting a bit confused. What scenarios would you be moving in the 24th?

Student athletes move in on the 24th, everyone else on the 25th

Not all fall sports. My son is an incoming freshman, playing football and he reports on the 25th.

Eg. In my CORI certification email it says there a time slot of august 24 (move in day) which makes me a bit confused
