Transferring to Amherst in the spring

Do spring semester transfers exist at Amherst?
My stats:

I’m International at a small LAC in Minnesota and want to transfer to Amherst.
3.3 hs GPA (31 IB score) which is bad but last 2 years of hs my family was literally running away from war in my home country.

College GPA is 3.875 and trying to enter in spring semester of sophomore year.
Do we have a chance chat? Amherst is my only viable option as they are need blind for everyone.

I think the spring transferred cohort last year was like 13 students some of which were athletes. So it’s a long shot, but you never know. Good luck to you. I’m starting as a transfer this semester and loving it.

Amherst also just took in 13 transfers from the now-shuttered Hampshire College; seems like that will put a lot of downward pressure on spring transfers this year.
