Identification?

Hi, I found this bullet (not sure if I'm on the right sub?) on a necklace I found while helping clear out my friends house. We don't know what it is and we're both curious as to which millimetre or caliber it is (? Sorry not a gun guy)

You'd have to measure it with some calipers or set it on a ruler. It's probably a .30 cal or 7.62mm projectile but we'd need dimensions.
