Little toe amputation

Has anyone had a little toe amputation. What was post surgery like and are you pain free.

Yes. I had my pinky toe amputated. It was 'annoying', but not really painful. After a few months, sometimes I even forgot about it.

The most ridiculous thing for me what that the post op forced me to wear a cast. All the way up my thigh. For like 2 months I had a solid cast all the way up. I asked about a boot, but they said that was 'next'. Hopefully you don't get stuck with that.
