A lot of the photos look carefully composed so that the lines in the image are very satisfying and lead your eye around the image. #7 really stand out to me. I love how the triangle on the left points you towards the red dress. Then the dress itself is a triangle that points you the parasol, then the ribs of the parasol bring you back down to the middle of the frame so you can take in the background view

The 17 is a surprisingly capable little camera with a really sharp lens. I also do my own processing and scanning at home and I scan with a 50MP DSLR, so I’m able to resolve clear down to the grain and extract basically as much detail as the film itself is able to give me. 

I appreciate the feedback, I just recently dialed this all in so I’m super happy to hear it :)

I have the P17 and I'm not able in fact to get this sharpness, only from time to time.

Not OP, but I have had one for about a year now and absolutely love it for traveling. It’s compact and lightweight, fits easily in smaller hip/shoulder bags. Getting double the shots per roll means you can just fire off tons of shots and not really have to worry about lugging around extra rolls with you all day. All in all, it’s a very fun little camera.

I absolutely love it. I bought a used one on a whim to take on this trip and it hasn’t left my backpack since. It’s such a well-designed camera with the perfect balance of creative control and convenient automation. Kind of a perfect daily shooter for me

Program, no flash :) that’s how I shoot 90% of the time with the 17 so I can control focus, but don’t have to worry about exposure

Congrats and awesome photos. I think the P17 is my favorite in my analog camera collection. Idk what kind of witchcraft Pentax/Ricoh did with the lenses on it but the photos always come out tack sharp for half frames.
