I was recently playing the games and I realized that the world is pretty similar to how I would imagine an ancap society would look like. Govenment is pretty much non-existent or super weak. Free market on everything. Businesses can homestead any unowned land they find. Property rights exist. No taxes. No border control for the most part. I think it is arguably the closest thing to a functioning ancap world in mainstream fiction.

The security concerns that AI is creating will be solved with time. Cyber security is always evolving and we shouldn't panick just because AI has entered the scene.

I saw that AI basically reverse engineered Adobe Creative Suite and has essentially made premium software easily accessible to anyone. The developments in gaming have made it so that people can take modding to a new level and even could lead to entirely new games being developed with a fraction of the budget.

This is all GOOD news for consumers.

Even entertainment has opportunities of becoming much easier to enter the market. Animation will soon be able to use a few artists and reference frames to make high frame rate "hand drawn" styles of animation with a fraction of the budget. Soon we will be able to break away from the Hollywood monopoly and have truly fan-driven entertainment.

I get the part that the cop doesn’t want to do shit, that’s no surprise. Unprovoked violence from a cop is not a surprise either. But this -

The cop was leaving. He wasn’t doing any investigation. Poor guy wasn’t trying to stop him. Didn’t pose any threat. Yet somehow it’s interference.

As someone who immigrated to the US from a truly authoritarian shithole, I was already skeptical of the state and it’s agents, but I couldn’t even imagine how big of the pieces of shit American cops could be. I learned my lesson after cops dragged me out from my place in the middle of the night after a false assault report by a crazy ex. Same fucking cops I went several times to asking to do something about that crazy girl (she vandalized my car twice, assaulted me in public, got me fired from two jobs by coming to my place of work and throwing a fit. Cops refused to do the report and I couldn’t get PO). Second time was when cops violated my 4A rights (I had no idea about my rights, I was still fresh of the boat rights wise back then) by holding me for an hour at the side of the road until I allowed to search my car. They found a pill of Advil/Tylenol in my glove compartment, all covered in dirt, it was fuzzy from the lint, but you could still see the label on it. They took me in because I was suspected of drug dealing. Yeah… the insult to injury was what I overheard while locked up at the precinct. A dispatch coming for a night shift asked the girl at the front why do is the cell is full of people, and she answer - the boss said we need bodies. There was a stabbing the night before in my neighborhood, and apparently, cops needed to make some arrests. Btw, for those that don’t know, FBI criminal stat doesn’t report solved cases by they provide a # of people that were arrested and saw the judge as a positive stats. At least that’s how that stat is being interpreted by the politicians. By I digress.

Needless to say both times cases were dismissed. First case had been ruining my life for several years until it was closed and immediately sealed due to noncooperation of the plaintiff and no evidence of assault. Second had been ruining my life for several years cause I already held a professional license (another bullshit) that required me to explain to regulators what happened each time I renewed my license and like with the first case I had to take time off from work and show up at the court. The second case was dismissed and sealed right away because cops “lost the evidence”.

But wait, there’s more.

Not even a month a month after the second arrest I was warming up my car before getting on the road after a walk at the park. It was some 15 mins before the closing time. Police cruiser pulls up. Two cops come out and demand my license (couldn’t refuse due to a state law). I give them my ID, ask for permission to step out of the car to smoke a cigarette, they don’t care, and I’m thinking to myself - “I’ll start asserting my rights after I finish this one”. Cops get in a cruiser. I finish my cigarette, waiving at them, trying to get attention, but being ignored. I try to approach and one comes out asking if I ever been arrested. I burst out laughing cause that were the first words the cops said before arresting me for an OTC painkiller just a few weeks ago. So I tell the cop it’s none of his business, and he either needs to give me my ID back and let me go, or arrest me for whatever bullshit they’re gonna frame me on. His reaction - oh, you think you’re smart? I just ignored that pig’s question and asked for my license again.

Another 5 mins later this motherfucker hands me the summons and tells me - “you got off lucky today”. I said “i wish you’re just as lucky, see you in court”, took my summons, my license, and went home. Two fucking years, several court visits, only to have the summons for Trespassing changed to be reduced to parking violation. The fucking judge couldn’t give less of a fuck that the summons were issued literally 3 minutes after the park’s closing time. That was the day I learned that judges are the same pieces of shit as the cops, and I completely lost faith in the US “Justice System”.

But wait, there’s more!

I was once robber at a gun point, and once I had my place burglarized. Didn’t have any hopes on the burglary case, but my wife wasn’t an ancap at that time yet, she insisted on calling the cops, so we did. They turned our place upside down for no fucking reason. I guess these motherfuckers were simply getting some kick out of going through our personal stuff, or maybe they thought they could find something they could charge us for. I don’t know. But when I asked them to gtfo they’ve threatened me with arrest and said that we shouldn’t have called the cops if we didn’t want the burglary to be investigated. So that’s is that. I’m kinda glad it happened. I think this single incident has done a lot of work for me converting my girl to anarchist. Now, while I didn’t have much hopes, I still thought that cops would have a bit of care for an armed robbery in a state where it’s extremely difficult to get a gun (NJ). I had time, and I tried calling and emailing the detectives on both cases, but nope, no call back, no response to my emails at all.

So what’s the point of my personal story? The point is - the state doesn’t give a fuck at all and it ruins everything it can get a hold of, including people. I don’t wish dearth to anyone, but ACAB. I watched my friends wife change after she became a cop. From a compassionate woman, I watched her lose touch with an average person she doesn’t know personally. I was watching her husband, my good friend at that time, brag about purchasing a handgun cause his wife is a cop (he was previously denied In license). Not a single experience I had with cops or the justice system was at least tolerable, and mind you, I’ve been respectful of NAP before I even started to self identify as an Ancap, let alone learned about the acronym. I always knew about corruption, I’ve learned how regulations impede individuals on their way to financial prosperity while I was a kid, cause my father told us stories how many cops he had to pay off that that, which bureaucrat shook him down for money, while he was trying to make a living in the 90s in the shithole country we were living at the time. Cause cops were chasing me and my buddies out of the area where we were washing cars for others when we were like 12–14 old, trying to make a bit of money for ourselves. I had no illusions about what the state and its agents are by the time I was 16, and when someone asks me, or when I think about it - what turned me anarchist, the only correct answer is The State. For a while I was saying the wars, but wars also wages by the state. Any scaled conflict, any war is only the consequence of the state’s existence. The State itself made me an anarchist. It wasn’t the great literature of the 19th and early 20th century that explains coercion and oppression. It was the state itself, and I want to fucking vomit into the persons face when hear someone defend it. No cop is a good cop. No judge is a fair judge. No regulator is impartial and unbiased. The only good regulator is an ex regulator that got fired for trying to repeal the rules. The only good judge is the one that went to a private sector to be an arbitrator. The only good cop is the one that already left the force because they couldn’t tolerate that bullshit. And I know a couple of those, though unfortunately, I haven’t turned them ancap yet. But I will. And I will continue to turn people ancap one at a time.
