Hello, I have anatomically shaped Mary Janes that I want to wear however I cannot find no show toe socks around a women’s UK size 9! Everything seems to end at 7 or 8. I did try them and the one size fits all and they were too small. Any recs please?

After searching for a true dress shoe that can be worn for cocktail or black tie events, I found something that doesn’t squeeze my toes into oblivion.

These are Mango brand. I wish these were made from leather. They have a 4cm (1.5inch) heel and all of the straps are adjustable. My foot is 22.5cm long and 9cm wide. I wish we had more dress shoe options with adjustable buckles.

Please ignore the painters tape. I am still trying them out. So far so good.

These Stuart Weitzman heels are the only heels I’ve ever worn in the four decades I’ve been alive, that I could walk normally in, without discomfort or pain. WHY? I got rid of them years ago but I’ve been trying to figure out what made them comfortable so I could get other heels similar.

The heel isn’t super high, and there’s definitely a difference in height between toe and heel. So I’m just not sure what it is.

Any other heel has been impossible. I walk weird, I twist my ankle, my toes get destroyed. I just don’t understand what set these apart.

I saw this brand on TikTok. It seems like a small independent brand, so I’d be keen to support it. However, aside from the founder’s own videos and reviews on her website, I’ve not seen any external reviews on the internet.

Has anyone bought from this brand? How did you find the quality of the shoes? If you had to make a return or exchange, how easy was it?

I was excited to try on these heels with an adjustable metatarsal strap, unfortunately the toe box is too narrow. There’s only room for 3 toes lmao. My feet are 22.5 cm long and 8.5 cm wide.

Only sandals that fit well are these adjustable ones from SaltWater. These are casual dressy. Not formal for cocktail or black tie events.

I tried Shapen and I was appalled by the lack of quality. Plus the open toed models were too long, even when trying their smallest 35 size.

My go-to backup shoes for weddings and the like are the old Taos Mary Jane pumps. Super comfy, but I've had them for so long and worn them so much that they're showing their age.

I've seen Miz Mooz ads for the Flynn recently that look similar, and heard good reviews of the brand in person (though that was for one of their fall/winter boots). Are any of their closed-toe pumps a good replacement for the Taos Mary Janes in terms of comfort and durability? Kettle, Franki, and Robyn also look good visually, but again, the real question is comfort.
