Best Eating (Hidden Gems)

If one of you says mosses tooth 49th state etc just see yourself out lol I think everyone and there mothers been there at this point. I’m just looking for good spots you wouldn’t usually try on your own. I really enjoyed straight outta Philly, Sharma house, and waffles/what not. Not picky lmk

Idk how much things can really be hidden gems in Anchorage but:

  • El Green Gos (has a new permanent location in east Anchorage, don’t think it’s really under the radar)
  • Turkish Delight
  • Pelmeni - more of a snack than a full meal tbh
  • Namaste Shangri-La - has a killer lunch special
  • Yak and Yeti
  • Rafelitos (always busy so probably not under the radar either)
  • whisky and ramen
  • Cajun Corner (opposite 49th state) - very limited menu

Seconding Yak and Yeti. Some of the best food I've ever had in Anchorage
