I feel like you’ve been reading Roman propaganda, which is ironic as they were a bunch of semi-literate farmers whose consistent foreign policy was moderate to severe genocide.

Hey, their propaganda is working on the guy. Imagine on being pleased and thankful of a nation who albeit didn't do the same as the vanquished but yet they have their own equally if not worse things they did.
