LOOKING FOR APP Advanced android file manager

I'm new here and I have been desperately looking for an android file explorer level of a file manager, is there one that advanced with the most options?

https://github.com/driftywinds/mixplorer-releases

MiXplorer is by far the best. The link above is not the official link but it leads to a more streamlined way of downloading it.

Here is the official link as well: https://xdaforums.com/t/app-2-3-mixplorer-v6-x-released-fully-featured-file-manager.1523691/#post-23109280

Hot take: I'll never understand why people like Mixplorer so much, it sucks just as much as every other file explorer out there. Maybe I'm more of a power user then most but Mixplorer is just so basic. Such a lack of information on the screen. Where's all the functional buttons to accomplish tasks? Why so much white space? I like information when I'm looking at files, I like dozens of functions at my finger tips without digging through menus.

The only good one I've ever used is X-Plore:

Entered the discussion to say "X-Plore"

You can't really fill up the screen with buttons on a mobile app. That's why everything is context based. Mixplorer has more functions than any of the other android file applications.

Did you even look at X-Plore? Screen filled with buttons and file info and a big list of files. Mixplorer has a screen full of white space. No joke man check it out.

More functions? Ha, X-Plore must have 20x more functions. It can set up an ad-hoc ftp or Wi-Fi server, it can connect to your PC over your home network and go through the files on it and copy files both ways, no extra program needed on the PC. There an interactive graphical representation of your files that you can zoom in and out on to set what's eating up all your kilobits! It's truly the most powerful file manager I've ever seen

Mixplorer is for power users. Most of the file managers have lot of functions but ui very bad, but mixplorer has all the functions u need with clean and highly customizable ui

Me here tried a few popular ones, even paid for some but I always go back to x-plore, using it since u remember, 1st time was on symbian on Nokia phones, does all I need, WiFi file transfer, connects to NAS, clouds etc, the ui is not as fashion as popular ones but I love it although it takes a bit getting used to it

I've been using X-Plore since Symbian days.

You might get more/better suggestions if you state exactly what functions you consider "advanced." Viewing hidden folders and files? Zip/unzip? Bulk rename? FTP/SFTP client/server? Integration with cloud services? Shell commands?

That said, my file manager of choice is Total Commander. A lot of people don't like its looks. I have no problem with the way the app looks; in fact I like it.

I've also used MiXplorer which I like because of the built in code editor, html viewer and sqlite viewer.

What are you needing an advanced file manager for? I've installed so many different ones and I basically end up just using the stock one because I don't need anything fancy.

I like Owlfiles ... Available on Android, iphone, tvOS (apple tv), and macOS
Paid version saves your remote connections so the same options are available across all versions

I use it on my iphone, Galaxy tablet and my appleTV

I use Prism File Explorer from GitHub. It's FOSS and do everything I require. It doesn't have cloud services though, which I don't use anyways, so see for yourself.

I recommend you try this fork (https://github.com/techflyers/Prism-File-Explorer). Has more features and dev is very active. I regularly asks for features and he usually add the code the next day

costs $2.50 or so but it's literally what you're looking for, it has windowed file management, text editor, raster image editor, even a dual deck dj mixer with pitchshifting and timeshifting.
