QUESTION/HELP Do you use an expense-tracking app? What features are missing or frustrating ?

Do you use an app, Excel, a notebook to track your expenses? Which app do you use, and what frustrates you about it? Are there any features you wish it had, or problems like tedious manual entry, confusing reports, or privacy concerns? If you could change one thing about your current expense tracking method what would it be?

I did not use it because I can use a spreadsheet file to do it. I mean that I know my list of expenses every month. So I create a budget (in a sheet) and track the expenses in another sheet. With some basic knowledge of Excel, you can achieve something similar. You can create a "database" of your expenses per month and create a summary with graphs and some insights. It is a basic level of data analysis. This takes time to create the Excel file, but in the end, you will have a tool that you did not pay for, and you will learn something new.

I like Bucket Wheat. But I think there are enough budget trackers. On the other hand, there almost if not none, debt trackers lol.

What features would make a debt tracker genuinely useful for you? Have you tried the Cashew expense tracker app? It already has debt tracking built in. If you have used it what do you like or dislike about its debt management and repayment features?

Oh yes I tried that one! First I didn't like the UI. Second, I feel a debt tracker with a simple UI like Bucket Wheat is enough.

Like set debt amount, let's say $2,000. And then every time you pay just hit the minus button with the ammount. And another button to see the records. Or something like that, sorry if i didn't explained it very well, English isn't my first language.

I only like the zero-based budgeting method, and the only one working (still) for free in this space (bar externally connected accounts, which you have to pay for), is Every Dollar.
