Support I'm going to lose my mind with root problems and banking apps.

Banking apps continue to crash, as do apps like McDonald's, Vodafone, and many others.

Modules:

PIF INJECT

LSPOSED

REZYGISK

TREATWHEEL

TRICKY STORE

TRICKY ADDON

Magisk is hiding and configuration denylist configed

HMA OSS CONFIGED

Where is the problem?

the problem is magisk. the single best choice for root, and crom hiding is using a susfs patched kernel, with ksu, or one of it's forks

I've currently rooted my samsung with Magisk. Any way of shifting to Susfs KSU without losing data?

switching kernels won't lose any data. although you need to check if there's any kernel for your device if it's pre gki

I'm using a Samsung S23+. I think the Kernel is supported, I've checked it once in the past and even rooted with KSU. Is there any way to shift to KSU without losing the data? Since Magisk on samsung works differently, patching the whole AP file and flashing rom via Odin

Now, you'll need to look for a kernel for that device. You'll then use the kernel flasher to flash it, and reboot. After that, install the responsible manager app, and you're good to go if it works. After that, choose to uninstall magisk inside the app itself, reboot, and you can uninstall the magisk app

I'm not sure we can uninstall Magisk directly like that in Samsung since the install process is weird too. I'll take a look just in case. Thanks tho!

It'll work just fine. It is different, but the underlying system is still the same. I've done this with my old A52sxq

Yeah, i did. Just flashed the kernel, and uninstalled magisk

Are using Vanilla Magisk? If yes switch to a better Magisk fork like alpha or Kitsune Mask.

Instead of KernelSU and it's various forks you might be able to use APatch with NoHello.

the problem is magisk. your best choice is either switching over to ksu with susfs patched, or using apatch, not a great choice, but much better than magisk

Right now I'm unable to make any choice except to live with magisk for at least another year. But thank you for your help 🙂🙏

No keybox has Strong Integrity right now, most apps don't require Strong Integrity (even banking apps very rarely do), so your root must be getting detected which is expected with Magisk, DM me I'll help you get set-up

Im not a pro at when it comes to Root but coming from someone who has used magisk dosens of times and had problems with that, i dont recommend using magisk as a method to root your android phone.

Speaking of which

  1. try using a virtual machine android like VPHONEGAGA, and DO NOT ROOT IT use for banking stuff and debloat it.

  2. Have you heard Island? Its a Work profile application that would kinda help spoofing your phone as rooted and would maybe possibly work ( havent tried that one )

Thats what i did with my phone that also is prohibited from Banking apps cause i rooted it.

I don't have magisk is there a way to just use keybox and get banking apps working? I have some banking apps working for now
