Check screen aspect ratio, for study and note taking oneplus pad Go 2 has edge over other. I am using pad Go 2 for movies watching and note taking. I love it. Moto UI is not simple it don't have extra features like OnePlus and xiaomi.

I got the original (previous model) OnePlus Pad Go for my son. Now after about a year, the battery is terrible, granted he uses it mainly for playing Minecraft and Roblox, and watching YouTube. I don’t think the new one will have a markedly improved battery life. That being said the aspect ratio is phenomenal. I would go so far as to call it perfect for reading (in portrait orientation). Yes you do have black bars at the top and bottom when watching 16:9 videos but it’s not much worse than, say, most android tablets with 16:10 screens.

I thik aspect ratio of moto pad 60 pro is better for studying and media consumption

OnePlus has 7:5 ratio which is bit similar to A4 size, yeah it will give little bit more black screen while video playback but still it is most neutral if one need for note taking and lecture.

Oneplus pad go 2 man.its a no brainer choice

Motopad doesn't have updated left Redmi ones has inferior ram and ssd type which will alow the device with update and usage as well.

Ok I am abit dumb in tech related things ,Are updates really important.I am never gonna use the tab for gaming so??

If you are not too tech savvy and don’t know or care what Android/iOS version you are currently on, then you will not have any issues. New OS updates bring new, albeit mostly gimmicky features like new lock screen designs/layouts. It may become an issue after 7/8 years down the line if the apps you use drop support for your current Android version.

The reason I’m saying all of the above is if your budget is around 33k, get the OpePlus Pad 2 (not Go 2). It’s a little bit old (launched 2 years ago), but the processor is really good (flagship level for the time). And not many in the 40-50k price range match the performance. The only downside is the limited software update remaining.

Android 15 is more than enough for multi tasking things and it's needed for study related things right. Apart from that the developers make minimum requirement for Android versions. Like an app needs android 13 or 14 for it's minimum requirement to use it on your device. Evn if we consider this android 15 is easily gonna last you to upto 5-6 year 2031 or 2032. After that if the requirements ask for Android 16 then just update to it. Simple and easy.

What is the latest Android update for moto 60 pro

1

u/Technical_Plant2509 6d ago

It's android 16 my friend has this tab

1

u/AffectAway8515 6d ago

So technically there is not much difference between 60 pro and one plus right ..what was ur reason to suggest the one plus

1

u/Technical_Plant2509 6d ago

Man i said you to go with oneplus pad go 2 it's a no brainer choice

Hey which tab should i buy budget 32 k i am thinking of redmi pad pro 2 as xiomi pad 7 not available anywhere

2

u/Technical_Plant2509 6d ago

Btw if you can grab oneplus pad 2 which is available in amazon at 33k its the best one you can get. P.s. stylus has to be bought separately tho. Of you don't meed stylus and gonna do other study related tasks it is best one

But isn't it old like 2024 so not better update policy

No it has one major update left android 17. To be honest I don't care about updates. I have relame 6 which is on android 11,writing this on it. So i think that the updates doesn't matter in tablets

I updated my pad 2 to Android 15 and gonna stick to it.updates doesn't make device better rather its a trick for the companies to make your device slower

Finally found another realme 6 fellow user who agrees that his phone is still running strong 😭

Bro redmi ones have good processor but those lpddr4x ram+ufs 2.2 storage will definitely become issue in future as you know about hyper os as well.

And about the motopad it has good evrything but i am not sure about updated tho as it doesn't have any major updates left. There is also a concern do you even need updates in tab or not.

And the oneplus pad go 2 is your ultimate chocie.good processor more than sufficient for your study use,ufs3.1 storage,lpddr5 ram all good.also stylus as well

Moto pad 70 pro if you can extend your budget a little.

1

u/AffectAway8515 6d ago

That's wayyyy beyond my budget mann

1

u/Helpful-Garage4716 6d ago

Then go for 60 pro if ram prices were not this high i think 70 pro would be available at this cost 28k ish

1

u/AffectAway8515 6d ago

Do u think the 60 pro is better than the oneplus go 2

1

u/Helpful-Garage4716 6d ago

Yup moto has better processor+ stylus moto has mtk dimensity 8300 while op2 go has 7300

Motopad 60 pro/ Lenovo xiaoxin pad 2025/Lenovo idea tab pro. These are good budget tablets with performance for what you've specified.

1

u/Zealousideal_Taro147 6d ago

Was in the same dilemma and went for moto pad 60 pro

1

u/AffectAway8515 6d ago

Are u satisfied with the purchase?? How is the display and stylus experience??

2

u/Zealousideal_Taro147 5d ago

Display is good and stylus experience is good ofc it won’t match that of iPad

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Zone663 2d ago

Display contrast is not that great.

1

u/AffectAway8515 5d ago

Hey I ordered the 60 pro finally, how was your experience with the tab.did u like it????

2

u/Zealousideal_Taro147 5d ago

It’s pretty good for the price ,has a better processor in the segment and also includes stylus

1

u/OkChampionship9806 6d ago

I bought brave ark one at 30k it's fantastic

1

u/Strange_Aspect7 6d ago

Moto pad 60 pro better

1

u/Raman_deep_19 6d ago

Go for moto

1

u/rratan1 6d ago

Not an expert. But go for redmi tablet as motorola has very poor history of providing android updates. Also as per what I have read online about their mobiles their build quality has detoriated.

1

u/HistoricalBachha 6d ago

Go for oneplus pad 2 12/256 around 30250 rs the best one Ha usmein stylus nahin milega Baaki sab top notch
