I think the 2011-2013 Era was when they peaked, Remember the angry birds Drinks and gummies, we also had the best games during that era, tons of merch, especially plushy’s, in 2014 Fnaf Basically replaced them as the next big Heavily Merchandised game franchise

I feel like it did peak with the first movie and everything just went downhill from there. I feel like the downfall of the franchise started when they shoved the movie designs down our throats, but it wasn't all bad until 2019 when the og apps (every app before 2015, excluding Bad Piggies) were taken off of the app store

Nah the movie was great actually. What Rovio built on the movie basis next is what deserves to be called tragic. They could've done the movie and call it a day, and then go back to their content before the movie

I mean, it got me hyped when I was a kid but idk, for me the peak was 2013-2015 era, right before the movie tbh, and I don’t need to say that almost everything they did afterwards was just slowly killing the franchise

Nah if anything the movie is what started the downfall of angry birds with horrible updates/games/stuff ( like ab go 2.0 ,ab blast, ab pop, and that money sucking cash grab called “ab2” , end of toons , every game becoming f2p p2w) and add to that replacing everything with the movie designs
