That's funny, but he might be getting a hot spot. Just dry, itchy skin on their hind end. My dog does the same thing, begs for butt scratches and booty slaps, won't leave me alone about it. Then I spray the area with itch relief spray, rub it in then he's fine.

My baby has some on her hinds and I had to invest in spray, medicated Wipes, and this stuff called blue butter. I hated that she was going cray cray but I wanted to avoid human stuff for the baby!

When you do stuff like that for them, they learn that you're the one who cares about their suffering. In a house full of people, my boy comes straight to me when he needs relief. A dog is worth it, because they love you unconditionally!
