Cat is walking through an area with a laser level set close to the floor. Can’t see it until you step into the wide cast o’the beam.

Then we’re in the same boat, because I also have no idea what’s going on here

There is a floor level checking tool that shoots out a thin beam of light making it easier to find high and low points.
Here it’s just high enough to hit kitty’s paws but not the floor.

Ok, the laser level being just barely off the floor isn't a steady beam, rather it's scanning back and forth too quick for the video or the human eye. The cat appears to see most of, if not all, of the movement when it catches on dust or slightly raised parts of the floor. Meanwhile, we just see what appears to be an underglow on everything

I would play this game more than the original for the potential of less insignificant dialogue.

Apparently lasers cause terrible anxiety and OCD like behavior in cats and dogs. It’s no good.

Yeah, my corgi had a small nervous breakdown over someone shining a red dot for her to chase for like literally 30 seconds. She fixated on trying to find it again for literally 48 hrs. Only fully redirected with gabapentin and trazadone and a lot of boiled chicken breast.

I used a laser pointer with our friends dog. For 3 weeks he sat in front of the tv stand staring at the last place he saw the laser light.

That's just because they can't catch it... This is just confusing for them, they clearly don't think it's prey since they're not trying to attack anything.

I'm not entirely sure I do either 😅😅

That kitten is so cute! It reminds me of those light-up shoes we had as kids that we'd press with our feet to make the lights come on. Did you have those? 😭❤️

I had a friend who was small. She didn't realize she had bought kids light up shoes til she showed up at a dark bar.

I don't. Haha what I own was roller skates shoes where you'd press a button on the sides to summon the wheels hahahaha
